Muslim Women’s Wellbeing and Mental Health

What is the concept of mental health for Muslim women in the context of Islamic Psychology? Join us for a free public session with Dr. Venus Mahmoodi, Associate Professor of Medical Psychology at Columbia University. Dr Mahmoodi will discuss mental health and the relationship between Islamic psychology and Muslim women. She will also shed light on treatment techniques that are rooted in our religion and Islamically-integrated coping strategies to manage mental health struggles.
